When looking for kitchen renovation inspiration, where better to start than those with access to the most sought after interior designers. It’s always exciting to see what can be achieved when money is no object; what luxury materials have been used, how they have made use of those high priced, yet relatively modest sized, apartment spaces, which luxury appliances have been selected? And most importantly, which features can be adapted and recreated to fit with your own space and budget?
We decided to share some of our favourite celebrity kitchens, each unique and fabulous in their own way, and all equally deserving of a spot on your inspiration board.
Lifestyle queen Gwyneth Paltrow’s kitchen is, as you’d expect, an absolute delight. The all white space in her Tribeca apartment is filled with natural light bouncing off the luxurious marble worktops, tiles and backsplash to create a breezy yet very modern feel. Chrome finishes on the tapware and cooktop keep with the delicate tones, whilst chunky worktops add clean, bold lines.

This kitchen is something else entirely, situated within Natalie Portman’s open plan, outdoor oasis slash holiday home in California. The property’s steel and glass roof and retractable doors enable the entire place to be opened up. The kitchen itself is state of the art and carries chrome and steel finishes seen elsewhere in the ultra-modern home along with a breakfast bar hosting spectacular ocean views from the hillside location.
Situated in The Whitman Building, Manhattan, J.Lo’s kitchen is a vision of modern elegance, featuring a suspended chandelier like glassware shelf. Custom sleek white cabinets line the wall, which is accented with warmer wooden tones. This spacious kitchen features a large island, breakfast bar, two wash stations and a huge wine fridge, making it a perfect area for entertaining whilst the amount of open space creates a relatively fuss free environment for a young family.
This beautiful loft renovation is a perfect example of how to create a contemporary kitchen while still holding onto original features within an older property. Kirsten Dunst’s kitchen and dining space features sleek marble worktops alongside antique style features, using dark blue tones and exposed brickwork to create a warm colour palette. The large industrial style rangehood puts the oven central to the room, adding a real homely touch.
